Owen V. Gray serves as arbitrator, mediator-arbitrator and mediator of grievances under collective agreements and other labour relations disputes, as well as wrongful dismissal and other employment related matters. He also serves as mediator in lawsuits involving contract, commercial, personal injury, insurance and other issues.
Owen practised law with a Toronto law firm from 1976 to 1983, advising clients about and representing them in commercial, corporate, construction, land use, employment, labour relations, family and other disputes before courts and administrative tribunals. From 1983 to 1990 he served as a full-time Vice-Chair of the Ontario Labour Relations Board. Since then he has been engaged as arbitrator, mediator-arbitrator and mediator in labour relations and employment related disputes.
Owen was a volunteer mediator with the Ontario Court's ADR Pilot project in the mid-90's. He served as a Roster Mediator, Mandatory Mediation Program, Toronto, from 1999 to 2006. He has mediated a number of disputes involving employment, personal injury, contract and other claims.
